Sarah Focke has worked on the Nebraska Lincoln Highway Historic Byway for over 10 years, holding down various officer positions. She is the Nebraska Director on the National Lincoln Highway Association Board and was co-planner of the 2013 Centennial Celebration of the National Lincoln Highway. Sarah was involved in the forming of the Lincoln Highway National Byway Alliance, an organization with representatives from the 13 states the route travels through and its mission is to promote the national Lincoln Highway route. She is also a graduate of the NSBF Byway Leader Training Program. Sarah is an Illinois native and has a BS in Travel & Tourism from the University of Nebraska Kearney. Her current passion is working as Convention & Tourism Manager for the Kearney Visitors Bureau for twenty years and counting. In her spare time, she enjoys camping with her family, watching her daughter play basketball, volleyball, sing and perform in plays. Her husband and dog keep her busy too.
