Overview
This gravel road with a short stretch of a one-lane dirt surface in southwestern Montana can be safely driven from May to October. Travel past the Tendoy Mountains and beneath the high rock cliffs of Big Sheep Canyon to look down on the clear, deep pools of big Sheep Creek. Trout, bighorn sheep, and deer abound. There are no services along this route. As fences are encountered, please shut the gate after you go through. Travel may be impassable when wet.
