Bohicket Road Scenic Byway

Overview

This scenic byway is located on Johns Island in lower Charleston County. Though a busy thoroughfare to the popular Kiawah and Seabrook Islands, it includes many historical, recreational and agricultural sites. It is home to the legendary Angel Oak, a grand southern live oak thought to be over 400 years old and a must stop for photographers and nature lovers.
