Byway Overview
Enjoy the ever-changing scenery along this byway from Loa to Hanksville on Utah Hgihway24. Travel through the Capitol Reef National Park, through the green valley of the Fremont River, through the geological Waterpocket Fold in Capitol Reef to the wild shale and sandstone high desert mesas and to the rugged Henry Mountains. NOTE: the All- American Scenic Byway 12 connects with this byway and continues west for 20 minutes to access Fish lake
