Overview

This two-lane paved road is located within Glacier National Park, spanning the width of the park. The road crosses the Continental Divide at 6,646-foot-high Logan Pass, and travels from glacial lakes and cedar forests in the valleys to alpine tundra atop the pass. Take in the panoramic views at scenic viewpoints and pullouts along the route. Travel in either direction, or both, as each side offers a completely different view. The road is on the National Register of Historic Places and is a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark.
