Hells Canyon Scenic Byway

Overview

Travel from Cambridge to Hells Canyon Dam on Highway 71 and view North America’s deepest river gorge. The route takes you through the Payette National Forest and along the Snake River. Enjoy guided float and jet boat tours on the Snake River or fish on your own or hike nearby trails. Wildlife viewing includes deer, elk, heron, bear, waterfowl, raptors, and wild turkeys.
