Hilton Head Scenic Byway

Overview

Continuing the drive to iconic Hilton Head, this route takes you over barrier islands and waterways onto Hilton Head Island proper. This busy road is lushly landscaped with well-kept medians and right of ways that are protected by vigorous local ordinances designed to manage Hilton Head's growth and protect its natural amenities. An extensive network of multi-use, paved paths along the route makes it popular with cyclists and walkers of all ages, too!
