La Frontera Del Llano

Overview

Begin this byway at the northern end as it travels trough the Kiowa and Rita Blanca National Grasslands, a unit of the Cibola National Forest. As you travel southward, you will notice the number of small, beautiful mission churches, stretching from Solano to Gallegos. Logan, known for Ute Lake State Park on the Canadian River, offers recreational opportunities for camping, boating, picnicking, fishing and invites you to stay a little longer at this end of the byway.
