Lost Gold Trails Loop

Overview

Travel on an early day gold trail that led adventurers to Montana and through desert-lava rolling hill terrain. Visit the Heritage Hall Museum, Beaver Canyon, and Nez Perce Trail. Enjoy wildlife viewing along the route. Begin at the A2/Red Road Junction, then on Old Highway 91 to Spencer. Take the Spencer/Idmon road to Idmon/A2 Junction and the Fort Henry Historic Byway. Then you can either continue north toward Kilgore and east to Island Park or turn south and return to the starting junction.
