Lower Payette River Heritage Byway

Overview

Travel along the Lower Payette River on Highway 52 from Payette to Horseshoe Bend and through the towns of Sweet and Emmett. Enjoy the local cuisine, historical museums, and charm of these communities. Visit the Montour Wildlife Management Area and the Black Canyon Reservoir and Dam. Recreational opportunities abound from fishing to ziplining. Depending on the season, do some fruit picking at local orchards.
