Byway Overview
This byway traces the Upper Provo River as it climbs to 10,700 feet and offers breathtaking scenery its entire length. Travelers enjoy the wilderness as well as picturesque campgrounds for both RVs and tents. Choose from the hundreds of lakes and streams along the way for fishing. Enjoy trails for ATVs or horses as well as walking. If you have the right supplies and skills, climb Utah’s loftiest peaks. You’ll find this byway in Kamas, just 45 minutes from Salt Lake City.
