Overview

West of Tucson and the Tohono O’odham Nation Reservation is the Organ Pipe Cactus Parkway, connecting the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument and the community of Ajo, a former copper mining hub. The Monument is an International Biosphere Reserve, allowing visitors the opportunity to hike in the wilderness, camp, or just enjoy the living Sonoran Desert.
