Patagonia-Sonoita Scenic Road

Overview

The Patagonia-Sonoita Scenic Road connects these two towns with Nogales to the south at the United States/Mexico border and north to Elgin on Highways 82 and 83. Important features to visit are the Imperial Alta Historical Society Museum and Pete’s Kitchen Outpost in Nogales; the Patagonia Lake State Park in Patagonia; and the Kentucky Camp Historic Site in Sonoita. Learn more about the area at the Patagonia- Sonoita Preserve Visitor Center south of Patagonia and check out the camping, hiking and picnicking opportunities at the Las Cienegas National Conservation Area north of Elgin.
