Byway Overview
The beauty of the St. Croix “Wild and Scenic” River Valley will impress you with its sweeping vistas and rolling landscapes in the south and then change to rugged rocks, cliffs, and woods in the north. Once you are in Pine County, you will realize you are in the “North Country.” This byway runs from Point Douglas (near Hastings) to a point north of Sandstone, MN.
