Byway Overview
Swift Trail Parkway lies northeast of Tucson on Highway 366, connecting the community of Safford with Mount Graham. The Discovery Park at the base of Mount Graham emphasizes the science and culture of the area from mining and agriculture to space exploration. Above is the Mount Graham International Observatory, a well-known location with a telescope to see planets and the sky above. Save time to visit Angle Orchard, a U-pick (in-season) apple and peach orchard. Stop at Roper Lake State Park for camping, fishing, and bird watching.
