Overview

This byway travels from M28 south of Newberrry to the junction of M28 and M123 at Eckerman Corners. It passes through Luce and Chippewa counties in the eastern Upper Peninsula and offers breathtaking views of Lake Superior, rivers, forests, trails, and Tahquamenon Falls State Park. The 50-foot drop is second only to Niagara Falls as the most voluminous vertical waterfall east of the Mississippi River.
