Overview

Running along the western side of the Teton Range, this byway offers spectacular vistas, rivers, and historic sites. Enjoy the views, especially the wildflowers in the spring and the fall foliage. A bike trail runs parallel to the route in the Teton Valley. Further north in the Snake River Valley are fields of potatoes and other crops. Be sure to stop at the Teton Geotourism Center in Driggs. Enjoy skiing on the area’s slopes Begin this byway at Swan Valley on Idaho 31, then to Idaho 33 at Victor to Idaho 32 and then Idaho 47 to Ashton. Note: The road often has a snow floor in the winter.
