Overview

This US Highway connects Delaware with New Jersey and is a major commuter route. Parts of it are also known as the George A. Penglase Memorial Parkway. The Byway travels through West Chester, Bridgeport, Norristown, Montgomeryville, and New Hope. The road size ranges from a two-lane highway to a 4-lane expressway with traffic volumes ranging from 17,000 to 105, 000 vehicles per day. Stop at Amish stores or the many pubs, taverns, and wineries along the way. Make time for the Bucks County Children’s Museum in the heart of New Hope.
