Byway Overview

Located between Carson City and Reno on US 395 Alternate (Old US 395), this route provides a scenic loop around the Washoe Lake. Known as a recreation, open space, and wildlife haven the traveler takes a journey back in time to appreciate the area’s beauty, wildlife, and historical structures.
