Byway Overview

Travel from Banks to Lowman through the Boise National Forest as this route travels along the Banks-Lowman Road. The byway is accessed from Highway 55 at Banks or off Highway 21, north of Boise. Enjoy the guest ranches, whitewater rafting on the Payette River or a performance at the outdoor Starlight Mountain Theatre. The area offers great fishing, hiking, and wildlife viewing. Bring the camera!
