Zilpo Road National Forest Scenic Byway

Overview

Begin this byway on Forest Road 129 at Clear Creek Lake, taking US Highway 60 exit in Salt Lick to travel south 4 miles on KY 211 to the Forest Road. The byway then ends at Zilpo Campground. The route will take you through an eastern hardwood forest, the Daniel Boone National Forest, with opportunities to see wildlife flowers, Cave Run Lake, Clear Creek Iron Furnace, Tater Knob Fire Tower, and the many trails to explore.
