NSBA Secretary

Glenda is an active member of the NSBA Education Committee and will be authoring and editing more Byway Fact Sheets. She has reviewed the NSBA portfolio of Byway Fact Sheets and will be updating them as needed as part of her responsibility on the Education Committee.

Glenda is a retired public-school teacher.

She is the byway leader of Indiana’s Historic Pathway National Scenic Byway. This was the NSBF Byway Journeys Blog in September 2024.

During Indiana’s Bicentennial, Glenda assisted in organizing more than seventy Buffalo Trace Education Boxes and distributing them free of charge to fourth grade teachers in eight southern Indiana counties. That project, along with a biennial teacher’s workshop, received the 2017 Indiana Historical Society Outstanding Event and Project Award.

Her byway won the 2020 NSBF Innovation Award for the above-mentioned project activity.
