Showcase Your Byway Membership Campaign

The NSBA “Showcase Your Byway Contest” is our annual Membership Program to encourage new and renewed NSBA memberships for the coming year. A byway organization or a DMO membership paid by December 15 for the coming year is automatically entered into the monthly “Showcase Contest.” Read our FAQs about the program here – Showcase NSBA Membership FAQ’s

Byway First Friday Fellowship Zooms

All NSBA Members and the Byway Leaders that represent Byway Organizations, DMO’s, Businesses, Byway Collection and Individual members are invited to participate in the six “Byway First Friday Fellowships” via Zoom. The six chats will be held at 3pm ET on the first Fridays of Feb, Apr, June, Aug, Oct and Dec. The format will begin with a featured topic or announcement and continue with discussions and chats about hot topics in the byway community. NSBA Executive Director Sharon Strouse or her chosen representative will moderate the ‘chat.’ Members will receive an email with the Zoom link before each meeting from sharon.strouse@nsbassociation.com, no pre-registration necessary.

IPW Byway Representation Opportunity

The National Scenic Byway Association offers our byway organization or DMO members (representing byways) the chance to be featured on the prestigious “federal row” at IPW – the largest appointment-based travel trade show in the United States. NSBA is a member of the US Travel Association, which allows us the opportunity to represent byways. We feature the byways who pay to participate with the tour operators and in the media marketplace, including information and itineraries on our dedicated website for the international tour operators: www.comeclosertoamerica.com

Working through our Federal partners, the National Scenic Byway Association is able to offer this opportunity to our members for $500 for an Individual Byway, $750 for a small Byway Collection (up to three) and $100 more per byway up to $1500 for a large Byway Collection. Knowledgeable and experienced Byway DMO representatives will be on-site to represent your byway — no travel needed! Deadline to commit is February 28 annually. The Association receives no Federal funding, which makes membership even more important, as we continue the push to have Byway funding restored to early program levels.
