Lenore has worked at the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) as the Scenic and Historic Byways Program Manager since May 2010. Her credentials include understanding of grass-roots collaborations and community building and the ability to lead and develop specific programs. Current Scenic Byways’ work includes statewide promotion, wayfinding, as well as creating a Corridor Management Plan template/toolkit. In addition to the Scenic Byways, she is working on delivering bicycle-friendly motorist training, identifying bicycle corridors, and serving on the Preserving the Historic Roads international conference planning committee.
From 2006 to 2012, she was the Colorado Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Program Manager. Other positions include a Regional Vanpool Program Manager for the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG), and Accounting Data Entry Manager and Fleet Coordinator for Quest Diagnostics. Lenore earned her BS degree while serving in the Colorado Army National Guard, and since her MBA. She is married and has one daughter. She and her husband have been successful small business owners for over 28 years.
Various leisure activities include spending time with family, vacationing, reading, “novice” bee-keeping, boating, hunting, fishing, scuba, snorkeling, snowmobiling, and volunteering at daughter’s school.
