Cascade Loop

There’s nothing like hitting the open road: cranking up the tunes, feeling the wind in your hair, and taking a big old gulp of fresh air. And there’s nothing like doing this on the Cascade Loop! From the salty sea air surrounding the Puget Sound, flowering fruit trees from Leavenworth, Wenatchee, and Lake Chelan, acres of fresh-cut hay and farmland in the Methow and Skagit Valleys, and miles upon miles of lush evergreen forest along the Stevens Pass Greenway and North Cascades National Park.

While the Cascade Loop is one BIG byway on its own, it is actually also home to three independent, resident byways in their own right: the Stevens Pass Greenway, the North Cascades Scenic Byway, and the Whidbey Scenic Isle Way. Each delivers a truly unique road trip experience on their own, offering scenic views and overlooks from the roadway, and access to outdoor recreation such as hiking, kayaking, whitewater rafting, canoeing, and rock climbing. If you’re looking for more rest and relaxation, don’t fret! A variety of comfortable lodgings and dining options are available on each byway.
