Discover the Las Vegas Strip National Scenic Byway, America’s only nighttime byway and the closest you’ll get to seeing the world in a single drive. This nearly five-mile scenic route showcases iconic themed resorts featuring an Egyptian pyramid, a medieval castle, the New York City skyline, a Roman temple, the Eiffel Tower, dancing fountains, and an erupting volcano. Experience the dazzling lights, entertainment, and global architecture that make the Las Vegas Strip one of the most unique and unforgettable National Scenic Byways in the country.

To start at the northern end of the byway, take US 95/93 east from I-15 and exit south on Las Vegas Boulevard. If you’re coming from McCarran International Airport, you’ll want to start at the byway’s south end. From the airport, head north on Las Vegas Boulevard to view the famous “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign– then take in the glorious sights of the Las Vegas Strip. Just north of the byway is the Fremont Street Experience, located in the heart of downtown Las Vegas. If you need a break from the glitz, the Las Vegas Arts District, best visited on the first Friday evening of each month, has 18 blocks of art galleries, antiques stores, chic boutiques, and cafes.

Driving the Vegas Strip
Starting at the northern point of this designated road on the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and East Sahara Avenue, you can make the World’s Largest Gift Shop your first stop on the Las Vegas Strip. As you head south along the road, you will pass all of the most iconic buildings and locations. You can see the New York City Skyline, the Eifel Tower, and the “Welcome to Las Vegas Sign”. You can really create your own fun along this wonderful road, as the possibilities for entertainment and fun are truly endless.
